Order bank open date 2025 CT5V BW?

I guess we all have a different fragility but there was never any question that this car was for me. Also, I'm coming from a long line of V's and similar GM/Holden product, so call me a super fan. I still stand on my comment which was specifically about needing to drive an M6 to decide if it’s for you.
Early 2022 for me it was not possible to drive a 5BW nor had I ever seen one in person. Getting one at MSRP was no easy task either. But I single-handedly nearly brought down the entire internet watching every 5BW YouTube video. I was all in and on a mission. A deal came up in July and bought my car sight unseen, not even a photo. Those were different times and drastic measures were required. But I know myself and what cars turn me on. 2 1/2 years later zero regrets. Best car decision I’ve made in a long time and my first Caddy (M6 of course).

Totally agree, except for the YouTube thing. You had help watching every video, you were not alone!

In all seriousness, while a test drive is great, it's not always necessary. I was in the same boat, in late 2021, a test drive was not possible. But you don't always need to drive the exact car to know you'll like it, and to go ahead and buy.

I went to a dealer, sat in a CT4 and a CT5. I test drove a CT5-V (non-BW). I liked the way it drove, and I also knew the 5BW would be even better. I checked out the ergonomics and the interior, and I really liked the controls--way better than their past dogshit Cue interface (capacitive touch, haptic feedback). I know that's a pretty low bar, anything is better than Cue.

As for the Tremec, I had previously driven some Mustangs, including a Mach 1, so I was able to get a feel for how good a Tremec is, at least relative to the standard manual transmission in Mustangs. Again, setting a very low bar for the comparison, but still.

Finally, the magazine articles and YouTube videos were very convincing.

Lots of ways to get the information you need to decide.

Now that 5BWs are being delivered what are people paying? MSRP, above or below?

The Blackwing King at Sewell (Dustin) is who I worked with to custom order my '25 BW at sticker price. Highly recommend him! That said, I did have to wait in line for an allocation which took a long time, but I know the wait is worth it.

You are not going to pay below MSRP on something you walk into a dealership and custom order - especially for these cars.

You're best bet will be buying one off the lot when the next model year starts to roll in. I'm sure you can get a good deal on 2024's right now - it will be a while before dealers will discount 2025's.

I asked for a discount when I was ordering mine but was politely told no chance. Most dealers have more orders than allocations they anticipate getting at this point so as a buyer, you have no leverage.

Yet other dealerships order retail stock how they want to order because nobody walked in and asked so the sales manager or whom ever does the ordering orders ( mostly black/white colors) and the cars sit on the lots when they could be doing a little research and advertising to order retail sold cars and moving units as quick as they come in. Such a old way of doing sales, Sewell has grabbed the attention of this forum which now creates internet search results and they are selling units quickly with a list of retail sold orders.
2 black 5bw showed up at my local dealer one manual one auto both with CF1&CF2 one has base seats other mid tier, i got a feeling this is for the lot not customer ordered, what a waste of 2 allocations.

Spot on. I shared my ordering experience in a different thread but one of the local dealers wanted a $15K non-refundable deposit for me to order a car in Typhoon metallic. They have two ‘25 black manuals sitting on their lot for the past 2+ weeks and majority of their pipeline is white/black BW’s.

All,
So Saturday our dealer finally called to say they had an ETA for our car. Apparently they have a series of CT5-V & BWs arriving the week of 21 Jan and my car is one of them...
So, fingers crossed that I may have a car before the end of month! Whew... Long wait!!!
Now I just hope the mess from this snowstorm is gone and we don't have another storm that week 🤞
Hard to believe I started this process last May...wow.
Finally!!!!
So, I got the call, our 2025 CT5-V, BLACK RAVEN/ONYX package car arrived a few days early...ha...after close to 8 months of waiting!
I am working arrangements to check it out and close the deal this weekend... Of course the weather calls for rain and snow all weekend here in Annapolis. I will post pictures once I pick it up...brrrr

My 5BW has a VIN and now a window sticker. Now, of course, waiting for delivery. Anyone have any idea when that could be? Estimate? Venture a guess?

For my 4BW, I noticed the sticker and VIN about 2.5 months before it was delivered to the dealer.

Congrats! Didn't realize they put summer tires on the AWD V's from the factory.

...I hope they didn't drill holes in your bumper for that front plate.

They don't offer summer tires in the 20" like he has. They also drill through the bumper for the plate mount.

They are all season tires on the 20" rims.
The dealer had the plate holder on before we could discuss it. I was so shocked the car had finally arrived, I missed that... But it is fine orherwise
