My guess it’s a new for ‘25 thing.
I think from 22-24 you only got matching colour belts in the rear centre if you ordered the natural tan seats, at least in the CT5, though if someone has experienced otherwise please correct me.

The "Special Edition" 4s also received the center red seat belt beginning in 2023.

Looks like my 5BW is scheduled to be built this next week. Could it be? Could it really be? This is actually happening??

Realistically what does this mean as far as the overall timeline goes? How long does it take them to build these things and then how long does it take them to ship them out to the dealership? Any ideas? Rough estimates?

At least I am actually in the Goat Rodeo arena now.

Did your car ever get a VIN or move forward? Mine still says 12/9 TPW but no movement or VIN.

Dealer called this morning and my V series has been delivered! Did the paperwork today and pick up on Thursday. Never was on the website or anything.

Congrats - she's a beauty. You should definitely consider getting a front PPF + Ceramic Coat to preserve that great shine. Post some initial impressions when you get a chance.

I have an appt to wrap the entire car, followed by ceramic coating next week! I entirely wrapped my 2017 Corvette GS; it was a fantastic decision. Initial impressions include disbelief. All the infotainment stuff is overwhelming at the moment, but I do not have cars with much technology from that perspective.

You may be surprised with an earlier delivery. As I mentioned earlier, I was informed my car would not arrive until later in January. Then, it was never listed on my dealers website nor Cadillac.com as being "in transit.

It's on the back of the infotainment screen. It also glows in white at night from what I saw on other models with the same screen.

Congrats! Can you check your trunk and see if you have the SD card slot for your surround vision recorder? Mine doesn’t have it but the manual seems to indicate it should be there. I got the platinum package on my ‘25 V series so assumed I would have it.

So Saturday our dealer finally called to say they had an ETA for our car. Apparently they have a series of CT5-V & BWs arriving the week of 21 Jan and my car is one of them...
So, fingers crossed that I may have a car before the end of month! Whew... Long wait!!!
Now I just hope the mess from this snowstorm is gone and we don't have another storm that week
Hard to believe I started this process last May...wow.

Nope, just checked the automated status tool and still the same. I just keep telling myself patience is a virtue!

BLUF - Good news is that I got my 5BW (YEAH!!)...But not without one last show at the rodeo!

After two weeks, the status on Cadillac inventory website never changed from 'In Transit'. I happened to show up yesterday (Monday) and saw my car sitting out front. I immediately recognized my option combination. But why was it sitting running out front?? --- because someone else was test driving it! I almost lost my SH$T thinking they were trying to sell it out from under me... Turns out someone was interested in ordering a manual... But still -- WTH are they letting someone drive a customer ordered vehicle?!

Of course, all of this just in time for snow/sleet in Dallas this week!

The car was dirty from almost four months sitting in Michigan... They committed to storing it indoors and I will pick it up after the snow clears this weekend. I look forward to posting pictures once it is cleaned up.
