Order bank open date 2025 CT5V BW?

My ct5 V (non BW unfortunately) is saying

“Congratulations! Your vehicle has been produced.

It is important to know that shipping arrangements will take place next and your selling dealer is the best source for additional detail on that process.”

Sales guy has no other details. It was “moving towards the production process” per Cadillacs’ website as recently as late last week. Agent on the live chat says the event code is 3800.

Next step you will get a VIN number from your dealer! Exciting times

I did not. I got the high performance seats, but opted to look for aftermarket options for the splitter and spoiler. Admittedly the carbon fiber seat backing is amazing looking. I sprung for the CCBs!

Good choice, CF seat backs and CCB. I have both and very pleased.

Glad you are seeing some progress
The non BW CT5-V our dealer ordered was given a "produced/3800 code back in July. The Web site/chat no longer provides updates, even with a VIN.
Dealer does not expect any to show up until Dec !... We also placed a custom order through the dealer. That is still at 1100, order placed.
Seems they are making the cars pretty quickly, but holding up shipping... We all seem to be in the same situation.... Waiting!!!

Yes - I did get an allocation and still trying to get Cadillac to push the order through.

The issue is that the system was rejecting having both MHX (10 speed auto) and AQJ (CF Seats) equipped simultaneously.

The order is currently with Cadillac corporate waiting for them to fix it manually and push it through. The Cadillac district manager noted that he sees other orders with both of these RPO codes included and doesn't know why it's impacting my order/dealer in particular.

This is accurate and the build requirements it all has to do with the steering wheel, there isnt a performance steering wheel for super cruise

Are you trying to say that the configurator isn't even running yet, and somehow yours is getting ready to be delivered?

Yes. I have a post a few pages back detailing it (I think) but the short version is I used the pricing and packages that GMauthority released along side with a “expressway” Cadillac tool on Cochran Cadillacs website to match sure they match up. Built my configuration and sent the link to my sales guy, who put my order in back around August 10th or so. He was able to give me total price which was $600 short of what I came up with using the places mentioned before. All my options are listed so I still haven’t been able to find the discrepancy.

According to the sheet he sent me today, the car was built on September 09 and has been moving along since then.

I just find it crazy that we still don't have a dozen videos on YouTube of people testing these new versions of the vehicle or more pictures on their website or something, yet you can order them and they're building them already. Are you sure they didn't accidentally put you in for a 2024 model somehow?

I just find it crazy that we still don't have a dozen videos on YouTube of people testing these new versions of the vehicle or more pictures on their website or something, yet you can order them and they're building them already. Are you sure they didn't accidentally put you in for a 2024 model somehow?

from what I understand, no V models (including Blackwings) have actually made it to dealers yet. I do find it weird the build and price tool isn’t up yet though.

And yep, 100% sure it’s a 2025.

Ahh, now I see what it is. Yours is a CT5V, not the Blackwing though. That surprises me less since they have been shipping the CT5's for a bit now.

Yep, sorry should have clarified earlier. Wish I could swing a BW but my wife says we have to “feed the kids”, whatever that means.

Not surprising at all - these are low volume models. The CT6-V never got a configurator - you could only option it at the dealer and the options were few and far between.

I imagine we'll start seeing press cars go out in late October/November. They were probably built alongside everyone who got orders in during August and produced the first week of September.

This all tracks with I've been told.
Our order for a non BW CT5-V, has been produced, has and has a VIN and is sitting at the GM plant. The dealer has several CT5-V's that have been built since July but not been shipped.
He has been told none will be shipped until the BWs start shipping, which will be December.

Mark - is there a reason why BW orders are being held? Is it the engines? Confirm no 2025 CT5 Blackwings would ship before December?

Oh yeah - December is just a best guess based on the production runs and what other dealers are hearing....

Probably trying to make sure they get to the bottom of the failing LT4 engines (at least that's what I would hope).
