Can you do one in radiant red?
It is fun to play with Google Gemini to create these pictures. However it seems the A I is not smart enough to know what radiant red is.... This is the only red it will outputCan you do one in radiant red?
Sucks man but at least you aren't like me still waiting for an allocation and a production date.
Yeah, I’d like to see some action. I have an allocation but a constraint on typhoon metallic for the last 13 weeks now I don’t understand why they can’t just tell people what’s going on so they can at least be a little more patient and not have so many rumors flying around.Sucks man but at least you aren't like me still waiting for an allocation and a production date.
How are you able to have a 13 week old allocation with a constrained option?Yeah, I’d like to see some action. I’m sure you’re technically right. Although I am dealing with Sewell Cadillac in Houston. Who constantly has allocations available. My salesman will give me the very next one which is extremely frequent with them. He told me as soon as the constraint is lifted. It just seems like there’s so many secrets about this ordering process. I don’t understand what the whole point of keeping people in the dark is. I would just like a logical reason for not letting anybody order a color considering they are manufacturing them on other CT5 premium luxury and sports. How are you able to have a 13 week old allocation with a constrained option?
My understanding is that a car cannot be built with a constrained option, therefore the allocation needs to choose unconstrained options or it will be lost and given to another dealer. Allocations can’t stay open for more than a few days.
I’ve had multiple allocations come my way, but had to pass on them all because my preferred color was on constraint (now it’s CF2). I was not able to “hold on” to the allocation until the constrained option maybe would open sometime in the future.
Are you sure you actually have an allocation, or do you simply have an order in with your dealer? They are two very different things in my understanding, unless I am understanding incorrectly.
Well, even if you don’t have an allocation, you’re right about still having access to one when your options open up, as Sewell gets a ton for sure.I’m sure you’re technically right. I'm in the same boat....im up next supposedly. But who knows....gotta be patient.Sucks man but at least you aren't like me still waiting for an allocation and a production date.
Well it about time that Cadillac realeses some statement, even if it says nothing. Taking delivery in January, which is the worst for cold, wind and snow here in the northeast, is not how I wanted to experience my first Cadillac.Cadillac releases a brief statement that cars should ship before end of year:
Rest easy, that will buff right out.Well it about time that Cadillac realeses some statement, even if it says nothing. Taking delivery in January, which is the worst for cold, wind and snow here in the northeast, is not how I wanted to experience my first Cadillac.
Hopefully GM is not keeping our cars like this:

Looks like an acceptable GM-quality paint job. Your dealer will happily present that to you for delivery.Well it about time that Cadillac realeses some statement, even if it says nothing. What was your course of action at that point? What could we do? Refuse the car, have them fix it, something else?I got a black BW delivered to me in Jan. Dealer didn’t even take the white film off. When I did. Car look like someone took a broom and pushed snow off the panels. Scratches everywhere. On top of that, they put the film over dirt and even bird poop. I don’t think GM cars one bit if ur 100k car sits through snow and ice storms.
this i'm also curious about..What was your course of action at that point? What could we do? Refuse the car, have them fix it, something else?
