So we are all clowns or just me driving the car? :ROFLMAO:

I went through that phase, LOL.
I trust you got your car by now? I know you were supposed to get it on the 8th.

Nope.

Last talked to my sales guy on Monday the 5th, and it had not yet hit the local rail yard. I'm just being patient. The knowledge that it is actually moving has calmed me down.

And at this point the closer delivery gets to Christmas the cooler it gets.

I said from the beginning that once I got an allocation and an order placed, I would keep a healthy perspective on this whole process. It's definitely difficult not knowing what is going on though. A little bit of info would go a LONG way to feeling like at least acceptable customer service.

With that said, I'm still 100% stoked on my car. We are very fortunate to have our names on one of, if not the greatest sport sedans ever built, even if it is sitting snow covered in Lansing without hood liners, or A/C blower motors...or motors.

What I don't understand is that my car was been sitting at "missing parts" for 3 months but other cars have shipped. What is this part that they can't obtain for my car but have been able to obtain for others?

It sort of feels like once my car left the assembly line it was out of sight and out of mind. Sometime in 2027 they will have stopped production and the completed cars will have all left the holding pen. A lonely, dust covered, Argent silver 4BW remains. It's battery long dead for want of some component no longer manufactured. The remaining lot attendant whirs around on an electric transporter and stops. He peers in through the dirt and sheds a single tear at what might have been.

I'm right there with you brother! I think that lot attendant is going to be peering at two remaining Argent Silver 4BW's! 😂

Flux capacitor on constraint!
I think the part we’re all missing is a bit of communication and common sense, efficient logistics from Cadillac.

Just your neighborhood Zoomie here offering what I think my memory serves. I am P0460148 and I believe you MP 4BW friends of mine who were TPW late August to early September, Labor Day, got hit with this. I somehow escaped being built mid to end of September.

Maybe this is the culprit still?

I remember the various 'blower motor' constraints being an active part of my discussions with Keri at the time.

I am still here with and for ya guys!

ZZ Top

I'd previously joked about cars sitting outside for a bit, who cares no big deal etc... but a Michigan winter is no small thing.
There's loads of space around there, surely there are some empty warehouses they can put the longtermers in to protect from the elements? It hardly makes them Gulf coast hurricane cars, but it's still crap for $65k to $100k+ cars.
