Order bank open date 2025 CT5V BW?

They have said nothing and also just revealed '25 model year special editions that you can't order yet...

Ha! I agree that something has to be happening soon. At least a fall or actual 2025 launch does not seem like it's going to happen. It looks like the 2025 4BW will start to come on lots on Monday. I saw a total of 13 available within 2000 miles of me. Some have dealer delivery dates.

There was information added earlier about both. I thought I would add on. My salesperson did say the CT5 was open, but I think he that's non-blackwing.

The "new vehicle inventory" search on cadillac.com shows 18 2025, CT4-V (and 6 V-Series R) cars in transit. All are automatics and no blackwings are listed. The earliest estimated delivery date is July 1st.

Of much more interest to me would be finding out what's preventing the order process from starting for the CT5 BW. I did some searches but didn't really find days for previous years (i.e. orders open date, production start date, production end date).

PS - looking at those '25 CT4Vs on the Cadillac inventory page ... Deep Space Metallic and Typhoon Metallic are gorgeous! And Drift Metallic is the new "old man blue" definitively defeating Midnight Steel Metallic for the title.

I’ve been trying to find real life pictures of deep space metallic but so far, no dealers have posted pictures of their new CT5s. I’ve also only been able to find one or two across the entire country.

A silver lining in the delayed ordering might be that we can see some of these colors in real life, particularly the Deep Space Metallic. If I had to order today I would go with Drift Metallic, but it would be nice to see Deep Space in person before committing 100%.

Thanks for the info - I'm still having trouble getting follow ups from most dealers. It's as if they don't want my money...

They want your money, but they want an allocation first. Some dealers simply won't/rarely get an allocation so you're a cold lead to them.

Care to share your dealer? There are a couple of us here that got ours from Heritage in Lombard.

Maybe I'm going to the wrong place, I just checked Heritage's website and they've got 5 '24 BW's!

Napleton Libertyville wanted $10k over in 2023 so I did not deal with them…I don’t think they are a high volume blackwing dealer.

I had tried Napleton Libertyville myself. I live in Buffalo Grove and it is closest to my house. They were my first choice and I initially placed an order with them. They received very few allocations when I was looking. They are a small Cadillac dealter. Much smaller than Napleton Cadillac in Northbrook.

After a few months with no movement I reached out Heritage and they were able to hook me up with an allocation inside of a few months. I didn't want any of the CF packages so my build didn't have any of the constrained items making it easier to move mine to the top of their list. They are a very good dealer and I was happy with the buying experience with them. They gave me a reasonable time expectation and had the car delivered to me earlier than they expected. No add-ons to the sticker like at Napleton, just msrp plus the extended warranty that I chose to add. Joe Ignoffo (Asst Sales Manager) and Isaac Herzog (Sales Manager) took good care of me.
