There are unresolved issues with the 6.2l. Most have shown up on GM trucks/SUVs. They could be holding until they resolve the issues.

Exactly what I said a few pages back Fine by me, get them perfect/bulletproof, like they did with the GT3 991.1 to 991.2 engine transition.

I don't think GM cares, just like Ford. If they cared, something would have been done years ago. Easier, cheaper to ignore it and fix/replace a few engines, at least in the trucks. Maybe not $25K BW engines. Just like the 8 speed tranny in the CTS'. If you read the recall on the trucks, you only have until next year(?) to file a claim or it's on you. Yup, that's caring.
