CT5-V Manual 25 Blackwing no blindspot monitoring. Why

CT5-V Model
Other cars have done a better job of integrating blind spot monitoring.
My 2018 Audi Q5 Prestige system is about as good as it gets.

It's not available on a manual. My24 doesn't have adaptive cruise control.

This is a weird list because I have a few of these things on my manual. Rear view camera, front and rear park assist and HUD to name a few. Also have forward collision assist I believe.

Edit: Also believe I have HD surround vision.
All the items with asterisks are not available on manual, all other features according to that list are available on manual.

So do you have adaptive cruise?

I don’t.

I don’t, I listed the things my manual has that it isn’t supposed to have according to that list.
The things you listed are not asterisked in that list, which means that they come on manual, too.

But if you don't have adaptive cruise, then that calls into question the accuracy of that list, regardless.

You are right, I’m sorry. That’s what I get for posting after a few crown and cokes with friends last night. 😅

The GM official website is frequently wrong. The build configurators are frequently wrong. The regular V owners found out that their grill was not all black in the config pics. The current interior pic of the manual BW only shows 2 pedals.

To be fair to GM, I have noticed none of the car makers make it a priority to make sure their configurators are 100% correct.

Bought the 25 CT5-BW over the weekend and just realized that this basic feature is missing. I love the car but very annoyed with this and not having a volume knob is bothering me a lot more than I thought.

I'm afraid I'll be in the same boat when it is my turn. Not much we can do I suppose. Stupid blunder for sure!

I can deal with the lack of blind spot monitoring. I suspect the lack of a volume knob is REALLY going to piss me off.
Regarding the surround view monitor- does it still have a front camera to avoid ramming the CF splitter into the curb?

Yes on front camera.

And my wife took her first ride in our 2025 5BW this evening and her first question from the passenger seat was: where’s the volume knob?

Actually, maybe it’s a good thing that it’s missing. I have full control on the steering wheel.

"Blind Zone Steering Assist" is included as standard and no longer excluded from the 6MT for the 2026MY according to the ordering guide.

Vehicle Order Guide
Thanks for sharing the link to the 2026 order guide. Changes from 2025 to 2026 seem to be:
- parking package now standard
- performance data reorder standard
- blind zone steering assist on 6MT cars

I could not see anything else different including the colors (exterior and interior) all being the same. So if you ordered a 2025 6MT with PP and PDR then the only thing you are missing in 2026 is the BZSA.
