- 2025 CT5V Blackwing on order
Does anyone know what options are currently on constraint right now?

Very hard to predict as they are fluid week to week. Even an order that has constraints can squeak through on a given day depending on the availability of the constrained item(s).Does anyone know what options are currently on constraint right now?
For all those who are waiting I must insist that it’s worth it. I’ve had mine for a month and change and it’s beyond expectations.Just spoke to the Dealer this am. Mine has been built for a little while now and is just sitting out there in the elements. No word on when the vehicle will actually ship out.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
I think the final push in the Goat Rodeo may be the hardest. Just......right......there.........so close I can taste it.
Good to know. For all those who are waiting I must insist that it’s worth it. I’ve had mine for a month and change and it’s beyond expectations.
Blackwing is not for everyone. You gotta want a sedan. A handful of members bought one and then traded for a vette. Some then dumped the vette.Good to know.
I just realized new c8 z06s are being marked down substantially and it’s making me rethink my decision.
My requirements were:Blackwing is not for everyone. You gotta want a sedan. A handful of members bought one and then traded for a vette. Some then dumped the vette.
But there are others here who bought a CT5-V Blackwing in manual and have exhaled knowing we have a forever car. That's a great feeling.
That's what it is all about for me. For others it might be a Z06, or a BMW, or whatever. Regardless of the selection, I find it rewarding to have one that makes you forget about the others. If you told me I could have any car and I'd have to drive one car for the next 10 years and couldn't sell it, I'd pick the same car I ended up with.
I LOVE looking at other more exotic cars. My son and I will walk some of the local lots with Ferraris, Astons, McLarens, etc. I admire how incredible the styling is on so many of them. Certainly I would be pleased to add a nice 2 door coupe long term.I sometimes think the 5V BW is too plain compared to the likes of comparable cars, but then I'll see a CT5V (non-BW) and think how nice they look on the road. Like, I turn my head for a double take. Where I live, even a regular 5V is super rare, and therefore my BW is easily the only one around for probably 100 miles.
As far as I know they haven’t gotten one in a little bitSomeone posted this week that their order was accepted with cf1 and cf2 (not on constraint) so if your dealer gets an allocation AND assigns it to your order, you should get it.
