Has anyone taken power from the Mirror to power a Dash Cam? Any tips? You Tube video?

I have used it to power my Valentine radar detector. so it can easily be done. There is actual plug in for the Valentine that tells you which wires to plug into and re-clampt the rearview mirror, and I believe its even called a mirror-tap.
