Corsa Xtreme Exhaust issue

Looked on YouTube. There are sevaral videos regarding exhaust installation with valves. Is there something about the video, like type of car, that will help me narrow my search? Thank you.

Good luck with Corsa, they are not the best in phone calls. Hard to believe there can be that much to it though, should be fixable.

Did you actually remove your inside tips and look down your pipes, as I mentioned, and see if your valves are actuating when drive modes are changed, or are you just taking their word for it?

I have the launch which I bought for my C8 when I installed a Borla ATAK for the exhaust valve relearn instead of taking it to a dealership. The exhaust swap will absolutely throw a code unless you do a relearn, I'm assuming its the same on the Blackwings since its basically the same tech.

Borla gave instructions on how to do the relearn in their instal instructions and it worked great using the Launch scanner. I also recently used the Launch on my C7Z to clear some codes while installing a throttle controller.

If you don't know how to do the valve relearn I would look up the Borla ATAK install PDF for the C8 and it will have them. Easy to download from Borla. You can follow the same process.

I never had an issue after doing the relearn on my C8, CEL never came back after the install.

I was thinking about doing an exhaust system on my 5BW. After reading this thread.....Corsa has lost a customer. I will be researching Borla.

To this point I have just taken the word of the last shop, but just got back in the country yesterday so will do it this weekend. The last shop created a very detailed report which specifically said they viewed the valves working during the switch in drive modes.
