Alrighty, spent another two hours and reassessed. I loosened every clamp from the x-pipe back. Using a rubber strap oil filter wrench I was able to articulate the piping around, then while bench pressing the mufflers up, cranked down the clamp towards the x-pipe. This heroic feat netted me about ~1.5” more clearance from ground. Still hangs lower but not AS low. Lessons learned.
Not gonna blame Corsa, doing this with a legit lift and adjustable jacks would make this a breeze.
I also hit the inside of the tips with some black paint to get rid of the silver piping circles when looking from behind. Either way, saga over..
