Blackwing Order Tracking - 2022 Model Year

Well...shit...I tried deleting a couple posts out of the old order tracking thread and I apparently nuked the whole damn thread! :r :hb

NOTE: the order tracking system is for U.S. based orders only. I can only view orders placed with dealers in the U.S.
NOTE: I will only track ONE order per member. If you have orders in at multiple dealers, pick one...

They tell me that’s my order about every other time I chat with Cadillac


I have located your order (BGRSP4) and can see that your vehicle is at the Event Description 4000 – Available to Ship. This status means that your vehicle has been produced and, pending some final testing and approvals, will be ready for shipment. I recommend that you reach out to your dealership for further information on shipment, delivery, and timing.

That order number is for an Escalade...the order number you gave me is BCDNZJ which is a CT5-V Blackwing that's sitting at 3800 and in the tracker page...

This is what I got from the Cadillac website and the order number is what I got from my dealer when I placed my order. Dealership says they have vin#.
 
Rob we are good and you are tracking the right number. Cadillac chat gives me that build number when they ask for my name about half the time. Something is screwed up in their system.
 
Soooo after bitching and moaning, i got an allocation sans carbon fiber and aniline leather.......... now what? Am i going to order this and they say theyre going to have the carbon in a couple months? Im really disappointed and unsure of what to do? Group input?
 
I took allocation without Carbon there no guarantee Carbon will be available in 23.
One thing for sure prices will increase!

If you're going to be sad/frustrated every time you see your car without it, then don't. No one is immune to the current market conditions. If you want exactly what you want, you have to be willing to wait. I want exactly what I want, from the options down to the price. Because of that, I have to wait. And I am willing to wait.

You either have to compromise, or wait. Even though you might've waited for many months already, you'll have to wait some more. However if you've got money to burn, you can just throw money at the problem and you would get exactly what you want. Some, if not most of us however don't want to pay more than MSRP, so we have to wait.
 
I just saw an article saying caddy was going to have replacement carbon fiber parts, how is that possible if they dont have the parts for the ordered cars... i think im going to do it and then go aftermarket, the seats may bother me the most.... oh well
 
I had full carbon fiber package on my c7 zo6/z07. It always worried me that if I messed up and hit a pot hole or went into an approach at the wrong angle I would destroy the front splitter. They are very expensive. Love the look of the carbon fiber. Happy I ordered this car without

** Available only for replacement for cars ordered with CF. Tall Steve has already gotten CF parts replaced on his cars. They probably hold some parts in reserve for replacements.

If they didn't do this, they'd end up like Tesla owners whose cars sit for months in the collision center parking lot due to lack of parts availability.
