I actually bought it like that. Unfortunately it came down past the AS1 line so it's not legal here in Texas. I removed it yesterday. Lord knows I need one less reason to get pulled over. I would say that it definitely helped when driving into the sun (i.e. when you'd normally put the visors down) but given the low slope of the windshield and how far the tint came down it was not ideal for driving during other times. Maybe I'd get used to it, but after removing it I'm happier. Perhaps if it only came down to the AS1 line it'd be more optimal.Did you tint the upper portion of that windshield? Kinda like that look.

I'm not a big fan of the front plate law in Texas. I don't run one either, but I have gotten pulled over twice specifically for no front plate (previous car). Both times were warnings.
