ABSOLUTELY NOT!! But I'd imagine there are plenty who may be willing to forgo the Goat Rodeo for 92 miles, unfortunately.I wouldn’t buy a new blackwing with 92 miles. That dealer will experience karma when it sits for months as a “used” car.
They have it listed for same price that I paid for it.yup, absolutely. It's now used / pre-owned! Spread the word on it!
If it was a cute girl in mini dress I might have forgone the $300Yes, I’ve been through that and it’s the financial person that always tries to get the add ons. I bought my 4 BW last November and as I was signing the papers the cutesy 30 something woman in a short skirt tried her charms to get me to buy extended warranty, wheel and tire protection, paint less dent repair and other crap. I told her, I know you get ranked and evaluated on how many extras you can shill out, but I don’t want any of it and if you bring it up for the fourth time I’m walking out….
THAT is exactly what I was thinking. He has another buyer for it that is willing to pay a mark up guaranteed.
If you had already activated the XM Radio subscription / added it to your account (if you have one), go ahead and cancel it and the next buyer will not get the free period. Let Bayway deal with that headache. They have it listed for same price that I paid for it.
Not sure how it works but Onstar was setup under my account as well.
$300 is insignificant when considering the car costs $110K but my issue was that they agreed to something and then were not following through on it and jerking me around as if I'm begging for a discount. I'm sure they did not lose anything other than a customer. They most likely will sell it for more.I paid several hundred for something. Don’t remember what and didn’t care. Early days and I was just happy to get the car at MSRP. Now if it was a Camry I would have walked.
Which may not be for another two years. Dude has way more patience than I do. When I found out that the exact car I wanted was available, and they told me they wanted 10 over MSRP, I would’ve been willing to do it. Fortunately I was able to talk them down to 2.5 over asking. Point being, for the exact car I wanted I am willing to pay. You'll have to wait to judge the $300 decision until the '26 model year MSRP is released.
No, I don't have any BW right now. I had a 23 TRX that I sold last month. Right now I'm driving wife's old 2003 AvalonMy wife would walk over $29, it would take a bit more for me to walk but it depends on my desire for the car. I'm guessing your desire isn't that high since it appears you already have a '25 5BW?
In 2023, when I was in the finance office 14 minutes away from getting my red BW keys, I would have done many unspeakable things to close the deal, lol. However special or not special you think the car is, its still desirable to a lot of people and as buyers we have almost no leverage. And the idea of the dealership valuing a loyal customer base died with the proliferation of internet pricing sites. Case in point, a dude from CA found the car you had in your driveway overnight.

My finance guy was a a jovial fat guy over 50 maybe 60 had a beard and weighed close to 250lbs standing no taller than 5'10. But he tried the same crap. Turned his fancy table/monitor screen around so I could see all the options and money I could throw in a hole and light on fire.Yes, I’ve been through that and it’s the financial person that always tries to get the add ons. Maybe this is fucked yo of me to say, but damn, this makes me feel so much better about my negotiations! Seems like getting an extra 5 years and 50k miles (bumper to bumper) added for a thousand bucks is a better deal than I thought. Dude wanted to charge me 5k for it, and I laughed… I had told him no on everything up to this and he asked me what would make it worth it for me. I told him that if it were something more reasonable, like say 1k, then I might do it. He took like three seconds to say okay. The more I hear about other folks’ experiences the more I feel good about the results of my deal.My finance guy was a a jovial fat guy over 50 maybe 60 had a beard and weighed close to 250lbs standing no taller than 5'10. I looked dead at him and said NONE very clearly. At this point the jovial fat guy disappeared and Mr. Grumpy pants showed up. Not only that he made mention of quotas and blah blah blah. Told him I did not care. He put the cheapest warranty on he could saying it made him look good and upped my trade in value accordingly. I said whatever works for you bud.
Warranty (2 years) was the most worthless POS I have ever read. It ran concurrent with the almost 3 years I still had from factory so it covered ABSOLUTELY nothing GM didn't already and expired before theirs.
