I can watch youtube on my phone while I drive if I want to be an idiot ... I don't need to buy another $350 box to do that.

I did mine over the weekend reason for me posting it, you no longer have to pay gm for the screens wifi.
I concealed my service and my waze app no longer worked, so I found this solution and it works great even netflixs works.

Not sure I understand? Waze just works with either CarPlay or AndroidAuto projection from your phone.

So, does this work in conjunction with the onboard entertainment or does it replace the native options (including CarPlay/Android Auto)? In other words, if I hit the 'home' button on the dash, do I get the regular options or do I have to unplug this device for that?
