Not a good day. I've been able to avoid this on 2 other cars, but I finally manage to curb my splitter. :-(
There is also a CF looking film material that was shown to us at the detailer who did my PPF and ceramic that you might be able to use. I don't recall the manufacturer but they said it's expensive high end stuff that's not available to the general public. I can get the name if you're interested, but you'll likely have to find a detailer that has it and is willing to sell a piece or install it for you. I kept a small snip they had and here's a photo against my spoiler. We all thought it would be great for anyone wanting a CF roof look. I think it was StekNot a good day. Sucks! I thought that crap only happens to me? Only God knows how that 2" screw got popped up vertical as the tire came around?I had this taken out of my tire. I was like damn how did that even end up at an angle to sink straight through the tread to the top of the screw, which it had done.
You need to put that back where you found it. Its installed by the tire company for the best traction. Its used to literally screw your car to the pavement.I had this taken out of my tire. Same. My Jeep windshield isn't happy. A short stretch along 355 from North ave to Roosevelt is a hot spot of cicada's worth avoiding.I haven't driven mine in over a week. I'm waiting for the cicadas to go away first. Driving home from work last week in my dd I got at least 6 big hits on my windshield from them. I'd rather not have to clean off cicada guts from my bw. I'll just do that with my lexus...
