Welcome to the Cadillac V-Series Forums!

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

Out with the old and in with the new, ready for Spring.

Changed the oil/filter & the diff fluid (loooooong overdue). The diff fluid came out looking brand new.

Is this the first time to change the diff?
Changed it at ~1800 but have tracked the car a bunch of times without subsequent change. I guess I could have waited until 45k but I had the car up in the air to change the oil so it was easy to do it today.

Spur of the moment took the afternoon off and met a friend in Lockhart, TX, for BBQ . He has some cool cars, too, and showed up in his Giulia QF. I had test driven one 6 or 7 years ago and really liked it but had forgotten just how rowdy and racy they feel. I got to drive it down a super bumpy, curvy backroad nearby and it felt very light and edgy but still planted, very torquey yet still rev'd out hard. Really neat car. I vastly prefer my 5BW 6sp but I do wish it was a little less 'polished' to make it even more fun.

As a Texan I’m now more interested in where you went in Lockhart! So much good food there.

Very nice!
How many ducats and how difficult was installation, if I might ask?
