Media dumps

I was not inferring I have been here longer than you. More that my design tastes are more old school than modern. Anyone who likes the older style has had plenty of opportunities to buy one. And even at large discounts this year. As you know, they were hard to come by early on.

I'm sure it will be exciting for you to have owned the older style, and now buy the new one. For me, I went from a 22 to a 24. Same car, different colors and packages.

Enjoy ladies and gents, those that have been there know! Those yet to go and are on their way, well here is a taste.

Good vibes, great time! Class act over there!

I did the same thing when the opportunity to do so arose.
Base black to radiant red, base interior to carbon-backed tan, and sun roof to slick top were the main changes.
Considered waiting for the ‘25 because the interior design of the pre-refresh dash and infotainment screen is, somehow, awkward and uninspired, while the new one, to me, looks much more upscale and integrates with the rest of the car much better.
But kind of the opposite is true with the refreshed front end and so, for me, the two cancelled each other out and a 24 was as good as a 25.

Yep

A little dated material most have probably seen, here's the reboot and my nickels worth.

C & D all time VIR Lightning lap results. Given the company its in on this list of all breeds. Id say top 50 all time for the CT5-V Blackwing at VIR gets your attention. Respectable to say the least given its a plump 4K # sedan lol!

5BW is looking to overthrow the Panamera Turbo S next Lightning lap as the quickest sedan on the planet with the new track package setup from what I read recently!

That's a nice title to have if they getrrr done! Good luck!

Great showing for little brother 4BW as well making the top 100 and putting several on the list in the rear view mirror!

Noteworthy is the Chevy Caprice Police Prowler coming in at #316! Gotta keep improving your requisition requests folks!

I was ogling a Ferrari 458 the other day on the highway. Then I remembered my Blackwing beat it in Lightning Lap. I would still love a 458, but pretty awesome that my 5-year-old's ride to kindergarten can take a modern mid-engined Ferrari around a racetrack.

I can't say it was this model Ferrari exactly (as I really can't much tell them apart) but a Ferrari similar pulled up to me at a light late at night one to two years ago when I was in my GTI and started revving his engine. He might have been a bit louder then the GTI (though I was just at idle)....well it was late and I had imbibed a bit earlier in the evening...so I was like no...I'm not doing it. Light changed and he takes off....maybe a second passes before I floor it. Well I reeled him in before we hit the next light a fair ways down the road. I looked over at him as we pull up to the red light...and he just goes through it....lol.

Sorry guys (and gals) but I just love telling that story....

Connect the dots! :boogie:_rock

Edit: On that list and its price points.

What's interesting is this quote "Last year, we adjusted our LL1 through LL5 price categories up by about 12 percent, to recognize the ever-increasing prices of today's vehicles. Those categories didn't shift for 2024"

Hold...or fold?🤫

I don't know how the 4 made it to the list as it was not significantly changed for 2025.
Because it's still the best driving sedan in its class. The only other performance sedan that comes close is the Giulia QV, which doesn't come with a manual, is basically discontinued, and comes with all the headaches of needing to live near an Alfa dealer.

It sounds excellent too! Would like to test one out but afraid of the Alfa stigma and problems though.

A close friend has had a trouble-free Stelvio for a while. I often see a dark green Giulia QF and its a gorgeous car.

What Alfa stigma do you mean? Honestly curious. I rarely see them and when I do, I think that's a couragous person behind the wheel (maintenance, depreciation, etc.)
Just the typical maintenance, electrical issues, no parts have to pay big dollar and wait for more junk parts from the one of the ex Baltic states. Then have to figure everything out about them because nobody around you can help. Those types of stigmas..... But I do like the 4 door clover no doubt!

I really don't know WRT reliability etc of the Giulia QV (problems early but were fixed I think...don't know long term) - though legit concerns wrt parts & servincing etc as Alpha really not well estabilished here in North America.

But the car is the real deal - looks/style & performance. Too bad no MT (here) and too bad no longer available new. I've never driven one but was able to sit in and rev one a bit....my what a sweet sound....and a very nice sporty interior (one I was in had some special red accents). It would be a fine choice for a perfomance sedan IMO - on par with the CT4 V BW in most all respects.
