Of course now you may have to pay 25% more for one (see stupid tariffs comment above, though I suppose that probably has had the unintended positive effect for me, at least, of increasing the value of my ‘24).
If you had a GDP like the USA (or even Texas) you may be able to call the shots. But as it stands you have very little leverage. Until then how about moderating your foolishness. You have no idea what you’re talking about. How many rocket launches did Canada have last year. Oh wait, that would be zero.

Wow.
Such hostility.
I’m trying to help Canadians buy a great American car and you attack me.
WTF?

Good to hear our Northwrn Neighbors aren’t as deprived of the BW as hs been suggested by others.

Brother I gotta ask why you bought two BWs though.
First one was pretty basic: standard seats, black.
Also was able to trade it in for more than I bought it for. They hold their value a bit better up here.
Maybe now more than ever, unfortunately for those who haven’t got one yet.

Awesome come up man. Swap the ‘22 for the ‘24… that’s a smooth move. Keep up the good work, and hopefully your experience can encourage other Canooks to be patient for a BW.

Someone piss in your Cheerios? I think we can collectively say, take Trump's dick out of your mouth and go somewhere else. Zero reason for you to attack him you old, insecure snowflake.

Frosted Flakes have been pissing in the USAs Cheerios far too long. Well the bowl got thrown in their face. Enjoy your breakfast.

For the question of "why have multiple BW?" Why not? If you can stroke it, go for it! I think I'm at the 7 or 8th Corvette so far...and that's actually pretty low compared to some of my other gearhead buddies LOL!!! Corvette-less right this second but that could change any minute! Let's leave the politics out of this forum...we all have our thoughts and opinions....and well, you know, just like a-holes...they all stink, right? BTW - I'm one of the a-holes from Texas...so there LOL!!

I have done it 3 times. Actually my first was the Corvette School with my 2016 Z06. Second was the V Academy on my GM Exec owned CPO 2018 ATS-V car. So I paid for that class. Third was for my 22 CT4-V BW. Absolutely worth it even if you pay full rate for it. And for free or the $100 the Corvette Class cost for new owners it is a great bargain.

So my Texan A-hole friend, you own multiple BWs at the same time, and Vettes too?! Good on you brother!

I mean shit, if you’ve got the bread like that then I guess why not? I can totally understand trading one in for another of course if the refresh grabs yer goat, but having multiples of the same car that close together style ways isn’t in my comprehension wheelhouse.

I get having a ‘68, a ‘73 and then jumping to the ‘21 or above because of the very different body styles and eventual engine placement for sure. If I ever win the lottery I’d do it in a heartbeat.

I’ve had multiple vettes at the same time - gotta keep momma happy too!! My Z06 and Ducati were in the garage and my wife’s “beater” (as I called it, anything but 😂) Grand Sport was in the driveway….That first last long so she found the Garage Mahal House where we are now! We rotate through cars pretty quick, I think we went through 4 or 5 last year plus other toys. Haven’t had multiple BW ….yet….but the current stable is her Escalade V, my BW 6M and my road race tube frame car. I’ve had two tube frame cars that were campaigned at the same time….just love doing things that turn money into NOISE / SPEED!! Cheers!!

Also, kept myself on the lists with a couple of dealerships even though I had a ‘22 because I was intrigued by the ‘25 update, even passed on one of the allocations I mentioned because it was for a ‘24.
But as I saw more and more photos of the front of the soon to be coming ‘25s I thought, no, maybe not… and the next time an allocation for a ‘24 came in I grabbed it.
Have since driven a loaner ‘25 regular CT5 while Redwing was in for her first oil change and, frankly, also prefer the cockpit-style dash of the older models.
Not to mention the matter of losing a volume control that your shotgun passenger can use and blind spot warning, too - what the hell, GM?
Sorry if saying that gets me into trouble with the ‘25 buyers.
Let’s just call it a matter of taste and get back on topic, back to Spring Mountain, which I’ve now been to twice.
Great place, great instructors, great time!

With dedicated track and road race cars, don't forget the tow vehicle and trailer that is also necessary. Most of my later working life (I am now retired 15 years) I had 7 vehicles. The necessary Chebby truck as a tow vehicle and its trailer, two vettes, one modern and one vintage, my road race Camaro, my 93 camaro, my 98 1LE, caged w a 402, and my wife's car whatever that was. Fast and noisy things are sometimes a disease for many of us.

Different strokes my dude.

I held out because I like the front fascia refresh for the ‘25. The entire touch screen thing is gonna give me fits though. I’ve actually never owned a brand new vehicle before, and none of my past vehicles had a touch screen.

So did you trade in the ‘22 or keep em both?

Traded in, just wanted an upgrade that would mostly pay for itself because in Canada lightly used CT5 BWs appreciated for a while longer than they did in the US. (Remember those days, guys, when folks were asking for and getting more than MSRP for them? They lasted a while longer in Canada, in part because there was misperception here that new ones were hard to get.)
So newer car, more options, all for the effective price of just adding the options after essentially driving the ‘22 for free for 2 years.
You’ll be glad to know that all CT5s before and after the refresh have a helpful old school array of climate control and other buttons so you don’t have to use the touchscreen for many things, and if you get an auto you still have hard volume and a couple of other basic controls in ‘25 for the infotainment system, too.
As for the fascia, it’s a matter of taste, as I said.
My view is that the old one is less fussy and more purposeful, more aggressive.
Again, that’s about looks and totally subjective.

For the OP:

I have been to 1 paid class and 1 class from my CT4V-BW purchase. I have also been to 3 V-Club member track days.

The class is a great introduction for persons that have never participated in performance driving on a closed road course. I have been on 25+ track days in my CT4V-BW and it is still fun to go on a Spring Mountain session.

The classroom sessions cover vehicle maintenance for track sessions and configuring the traction control system settings.

An interesting data point is that based on my experience with the Cadillac V-Club, I can state that only about 25% of the V-Club membership are interested in HPDE or autocross events. A larger percentage of members participate in Cars & Coffee car show events than HPDE driving.

I used to be a member of the largest Corvette club in the country: the Lone Star Corvette Club, around 1,000 members. Most of the membership was about enjoying show n shines, cars n coffee, pie runs and even some nice road trips to various events in the region / across the country. A smaller subset was interested in auto cross and then a much, much smaller subset was interested in track days and then just one or two of us were into w2w racing. It takes all types!! Wife and I had fun with all the stuff we did. I’d always get a kick (especially when I had a Grand Sport) about the “I sure hope you can keep up” while “running up front with the group leader” (in a Z06, a non track driver, I just smiled and had fun) 😂
