Welcome to the Cadillac V-Series Forums!

Any pics or videos of Deep Space Metallic on a real car?

Haha I definitely see blue, usually under lights when it is dark outside. Most of the time in the sun it looks like a darkish steel color. At night it looks like gunmetal.

It's the perfect daily driver color. My old WRX was red and the only thing I miss about the color is how it looked in the rain. The bright colors look fantastic against overcast backdrops.

Seeing these pictures is a huge sigh of relief. I was torn between Typhoon Metallic and Deep Space Metallic. A huge decision, complicated by not being able to actually see each color in person. Went with Deep Space and am glad I did (couldn't go wrong between the two colors I suppose). Can't wait until I finally take delivery of mine. It's just sitting there, waiting to be shipped to the dealer. C'mon already!!

Still has the wrapping on...

I very much enjoy my dsm color choice! The car is in the ppf shop getting stealth. I went for dsm/bronze wheels, swapping emblems to black. I would do the same again.

Sorry, yes I mean matte ppf. The shop sent me a pic of just the hood so I could see the difference before I committed. I’ll post plenty when it’s done. In person, you can still see the blue in it. My Escalade-V is in the black tri-coat and is almost silver after matte ppf. Pics in the meantime:

Interesting. So it is basically a type of clear that lets the original color show through, but "mattes" it at the same time. Is that pretty much it?

Definitely want pics of when it is done. Trying to figure out what I want to do with mine for protection when it arrives.

I’d almost say it mutes the base color somewhat. Let me find a pic of the Escalade, it’s black diamond tricoat under stealth ppf. The charger next to it is just plain black. You see a lot of the silver flake through the stealth.
