Used Value Trend

Talk about timing- both of us exit the 4BW at the same time :)

I am looking for something more impractical than the blackwing- Mine sat a lot too especially after wife got the RS3- that was the go to fun family car. So my logic was if I am going to use the blackwing only for true solo fun might as well get something made for that.

Might explore getting a cayman/boxster. If that fails I might wind up in a C8 or C7. If all that fails I am thinking a ND2+ miata.

If you still want to save the manuals, the C8 is out. The C7 is great but honestly I prefer the C6, especially the 6-speed over the 7-speed.. The Miata is great if you like cheap plastic everywhere and no power (but it is a blast to drive). Really you need the Cayman/Boxster, in 6-cylinder form, preferably the GT4 if you can swing it.

Traded our 2022 5BW 6M with 11,000 miles and an MSRP of $92k a few months back for $78k.

that's my car. I got $78k for it back in late June. Garage queen, 11,000 miles in 2 years.... someone bought it and double that in 4-5 months. They added the rear wing and badges (I had it fully debadged and they put the trunk one in the wrong position). Great car for me - not a single issue. But it's hard to tell how hard these last 11,000 miles have been.

If it's still a "one-owner" I wonder if a manager is using it?

Dealers are famous (infamous?) for not accurately listing cars. I wonder how many people see that "one owner" flag and never bother to look at the CarFax? I'll bet it's a lot.

And then when they go to sue 6 months later, the web page is long since gone and they can't prove it ever happened.

It had base seats. Carmax doesn't give cars away. I am sure it was/is priced appropriatly for its features/condition.
Also, if it doesn't show up anymore, doesn't mean its sold, just that someone reserved to take a look at it. It will probably be back on the site next week.

Carmax doesnt have smoking deals. It is priced appropriate for its history and the current market.
That car shows signs of having been wrenched on for sure, the engine bay is beat to s!@#.....at 24K, what kind of miles?

Who knows. It's a steal at that price while under warranty.

Edit, seams its has a "branded title"? Maybe not under warranty.
