Welcome to the Cadillac V-Series Forums!

Should I buy a new one?

Way to go @5VBW Nick, that is a very special rig you have there. It's a good lesson in being actively patient: Keep seeking the open door vs kicking in the closed one.

Thank you. I think the answer to the title of this thread is no, if you have a good version of this car that you are happy with, then stick with it. I think the main reason I sold mine, was that it was not treated anything like the way I will be treating my new one. There is a reason I am still here months after selling it, because I did like it quite a bit, but it had too many little issues and way too many rock chips on it. I think I would like this to become a very permanent fixture in my garage and that it will remain a special car for a long time. Here's hoping I can stay out of the blown motor registry 😄😬

Love the BDT exterior over the tan/black interior….great deal on a fully loaded 2024 model which makes more sense and looks better to me than the upcoming 2025 model.
Nick and I are near twins on this one. Identical cars from the same dealer, but his does have the carbon brakes and mine does not. I chased this color since it was announced and realized the dream a few weeks ago. I tried to order through Blackwing King. He told me he never saw a CT5-V Blackwing in the limited production Black Diamond Tricoat sold through Sewell. Got lucky to find both cars available at Pepe.

Nick, just to keep it fresh in your mind :m

It is a very lively black. I snapped the photos trying to capture as much flake as I could in direct sunlight. The second photo shows it as I commonly see it. You get a lot of graphite appearance with sunlight, and darker in other areas. I'm over the moon with it, but color is such a personal thing. For my tastes, it is perfect.

youve sold me! i look forward to you or Nick's for sale ad next year!

Both of these cars have been 20 minutes from you for 7 months. I would say you snooze you lose, but I think you must have been hibernating to miss out!
i was very well aware of them, just above my budget

I need to get off this forum or I'm going to order a new '25.

You are all bad influences.
