It's an indication of *past* designs, apparently. From the article:

The company didn’t say much about the car, but noted the “coupe was created as an internal exploration of Cadillac aesthetics. It shaped a portfolio of products on the road today, including the CT5 and CT5 V-Blackwing.”

When you look at the front corners, you see the '22-24 5BW. The '25 design has already moved away from this. Look at the split in the vertical light bar.

Also, I second the comment that it needs a MT. Not matter how nice it looks, I'm not buying it as an automatic, sorry. It is gorgeous, though.

Now I know why the Blackwing twin turbo V8 died. It's because this monster screeching bald eagle ate it while it was trying to leave the nest.

What a fucking slap to face to the Germans. They've supposedly mastered the twin turbo V8 and had to resort to electrification and this LT7 leaves mushroom stamps all over them.
