CT5-V Is PDR a option?

CT5-V Model
Just tried out my SD card for the SVR. It records all four side of the car at the same time. I bought a 32gb card and it works great. I also have a dashcam mounted for the front. I'm always having problems with the dashcam trying to review video. I just hope that the SVR will act as good back up if something happens.

IIRC, PDR audio won't play on OS X without additional software.
You just need to do one tweak with a free piece of software for Mac.

Been documented since original PDR. It's a problem with the encoder GM uses.

Interesting. I found that the PDR audio plays just fine in VLC Player without using those additional steps. Simply open the mp4 file and play it back like any other.

VLC Player Version 3.0.18 Vetinari (Intel 64bit)
Mac OS 10.15.7 Catalina

That article is now 5 years old. Perhaps something has changed either with the VLC Player or GM's encoding?

Nothing's changed at all. He's using VLC just like you are, but he's altering the file instead of just playing. The PDR vids have always "just played" with VLC without altering them at all. But if you want them to play in QT, you need to alter the file.

Ah. I see, thanks.

Guys, I just took a look at my SVR data card. It's just a bunch of 4 second files that seem to be from whenever I start the car. There are no videos of the car in motion.

Is there a way to set it up to record continuously (aside from pushing the RECORD button)?

Not the PDR. The 360 camera records anytime the car is running.
