How 'under the radar' is your Blackwing?

I thought this car would be a sleeper but I've had almost constant inquiries about whether it's a Blackwing.

At a stoplight I had a kid maybe 7 or 8 motion for me to roll down my windows. He asked me "That's a Blackwing right, Blackwings have 4 exhaust not two." So I gave it a quick rev and nodded yes. "He got super excited and started yelling at the driver whom I assume was his father "See Dad I told you it was one!"

Also had three occasions where cars just pulled up and slowed down next to me for a few miles....

That was me when I was a kid!

It was later revised to cover the E92 M3 and not the RS4, so who knows where it currently stands.

Possibly a few of those from the gas station owner. Gotta keep the "frequent flyers" feeling good so they come back. (My 5BW can guzzle the gas, if I want it to.)

Sometimes...but it's Costco so they don't care if I show up since they sell several times the volume of other Top Tier stations near by.

That said, since I prefer to not go much below 1/2 tank I do get plenty of chances for other Costco Gas customer compliments. Love our Redmond location - saw an Aston Martin DBX and Rolls Cullinan at the pumps on successive trips.

They actually did sell G37s from 09-12. Very few and I think mainly the convertible sold - very strange spotting one in the wild.

To be fair, the number of car people I tell that I've got a Blackwing coming and respond "whats a Blackwing" is to damn high.

I"ve had to explain what it is way to many times and I don't even have the car get. I don't even want to know how many times I'll have to inform people what it is once I have it and they hear the exhaust.

GM needs that Blackwing badge to come out faster...
