4 BW order timeline

Has anyone been made aware of a timeline for a 2025 4BW order? Assuming the dealer has allocations, the last time I tried this (early 2024), it was 7-9 months, and I declined the wait. Has it improved recently? Also, any particular dealers that might have larger allocations?

Speaking from my experience. Placed an order about a month ago from a dealer with an allocation. It was produced last week and waiting for delivery to dealer now.

I ordered a 4 BW back in mid summer. Order was just sitting and sitting, opted to switch over to a 5 BW and my order was accepted the next day.

I think allocation is the key. I have orders with three dealers. I haven't seen any of them get to the GM acceptance level. Last dealer said to plan for late December or early January.

I ordered my 24 in December of last year. Had an allocation within a week. Car was produced on 2/14 and delivered to the dealership 3/12 I think.

As long as you get an allocation quicky, I don't think the process takes too long from start to finish. I could be wrong with the 25s though. I haven't seen too many ordering 25s here.

Why not reach out to other dealers? It's very easy to buy cars out of state these days. There are high volume dealers who could probably get you an allocation within a week.

I have three on order right now. One is a high volume (Sewell) and another was mentioned by someone on this forum (both are in Dallas). The third is my local dealer.

Just to throw this out there - Delaware Cadillac and the team there have a BUNCH of 2025's inbound and 2 on the ground now.

Inventory for what I want has been nearly impossible. I was looking at inventory for a 2024 starting in May. I haven't seen one with 6MT and Coastal Blue.

Yes. 1100 is the code when entered into GM orderWORKBENCH.
