Good call….I’m def snagging one of these. Looking to get slim and super low profile so any recommendations here are always welcome and appreciated

I’m not sure if it’s super low profile or not, I’ll let you know once I install it… but the one recommended to me by a few from this forum was the Viofo A129 Duo Pro.

There’s so many options for dash cams that it makes it difficult to know which option to go with.

Had mine S/N 022 checked today and they had to press the plug in further. Per the TSB it is pressed in until it is just below a counterbore step. The service bulletin is attached. My dealer said it is now going to be a recall.

Interesting - so they don’t drain the oil or anything - they just press the plug in deeper.

Just checked our 22, it was pressed in correctly!

Update. Oil pan replaced and picked her up today. They will seat the plug if it hasn’t had any issues and is in place but not fully seated but if it’s popped out (obviously if they can’t it) they will replace the oil pan so metals are matching to keep expansion and contraction consistent to prevent issues down the line. I believe only 2025’s are affected due to the supplier as an FYI. Happy Good Friday all!

Checked my Jan build 2025 with a bore scope and she looks properly pressed.

I’d tend to agree with that. I don’t see your counterbore lip.

Yep, just checked mine today, ours was pushed in to see press bore. That doesn’t look good!

Better get it fixed and flatbed to the dealer. I would not drive it.

It even looks crooked in bore!
No sign of press bore.

Sounds like the service update needs to be updated (the one I saw said 2025-2025).

BTW, the NHTSA has a version with better resolution images.

Took a look at my plug - seems ok?

Picture on page 2 does not look like picture in bulletin, unless I’m not reading it right.
