What did you do to your Blackwing today?

Cleaned and detailed yesterday.

I really wish I had the red mirror caps with mine. It makes the calipers stand out even more to my eyes.

I imagine any reputable detail shop would be able to put a vinyl wrap on them for you for relatively cheap.

For sure. Mine was bought slightly used, with carbon covers. I gave those away already. I prefer the OEM's.

Got my first ever oil analysis back today. This is my first oil change on the car with around 620 mi on it. I will do another one at 1500 mi. Going by their comments, everything is looking good! #peaceofmind

Looks almost exactly like my first (break in trace samples) and then carries onto the last 2 reports showing good results continuing and improving.

Nothing major to look at. Good paper trail on due diligence on your part, worth the cost.

Anything can wrong at any point, machines, equipment and...as we know people fail. Good to show the effort to track these beasts, maintenance wise in these reports by a reputable test center. (y)

Looking at a set of Terrance's wheels. Assuming you had a good experience with his company, etc...?
Yes sir. no worries at all to date.

"My experience" as previously mentioned.

See no reason to believe you would not have the same results with Terrance and Sig Performance if you choose to do business with them. Best of luck....(y)

Had my first oil change done at 863 miles, courtesy of Cadillac. Today I decided to do it's second oil change myself at 3765 miles. I will say, being my 1st attempt at doing it myself, it was an adventure. Pulled the drain plug and the oil shot out like a cannon, partially missing the caught pan. My other gaff was not filling the new filter with oil before installing it, so off it came. Not sure whether it makes a difference, but that's the way I was taught. In the end, no drips, no runs, but two errors. :ROFLMAO:

I installed the Fumoto valve to replace my oil pan bolt. I will never have to deal with that initial blast of oil. I can attach a small hose to the valve too. I just filled my Challenger up BJ's Warehouse on Monday night. All the local gas stations have 87 octane at anywhere from $2.77 to $2.99.
The sign at BJ's said $2.60 for 87 octane. While filling the tank, I saw the pump was reading $2.26 per gallon. That is at least a .51 cent per gallon savings compared to the locals. They are usually only maybe .10 to .15 cents lower. I haven't seen gas that low in quite some time.

The delivery date got delayed until “next week”…

But I did buy my second set of wheels (satin bronze Variant Maxims) with Nitto Invo tires so that when temperatures drop to 40 or below o can still drive the car as long as it’s dry or wet, not icy.

Bro, I’m in Northern California and regular is 4.99!

@TruckeeTaurus.....Yeah, I'd say that low price is a regional thing or the proverbial "gas war". We're still floating around $3.15 for regular. Down about 5 cents in the last week or so. CA is and has always been much higher.

I filled up the other day and it was $4.50 per gallon for 93, I’m in the Chicago burbs.
