I got: ‘25 5BW, Deep Space Metallic, 6MT, graphite wheels with blue calipers (only thing I would have changed had I put in a custom order but was too late) CF 1/2, v8v (precision), carbon backed seats in Sky Cool Gray, sunroof(personal preference), PDR, parking package, alcantara accents, black lugs mirror caps and name plates, red seat belts. Pretty much the dream spec for me.

Make sure your dealer keeps the original mirror caps in case you want to swap them back.

Oh ya, great thinking. After seeing some pics of DSMs on here, I’m thinking I might like the paint matched look. That DSM is so sexy irl…

Nice find! DSM is a great choice. It would have been my first choice if it was a bit more blue instead of grey, Other than the sunroof (not my preference), it sounds like you snagged a build I would have been very happy to live with.

The pictures I’ve seen actually skew more blue than gray to my eye.

Depends on the light - it's often looks more blue than gray in the sun IMO.

My title actually has the car listed as blue for color.

It is a very interesting color and changes depending on the light. Lots of great pics showing how it looks in different situations in the Deep Space Metallic thread.

I've seen a lot of simulated images, but no real definitive pictures of it in person yet. Anyone have something that they can share? I'm thinking it might look pretty cool on a 5V Blackwing with black wheels and black trim.

Fluorescent lights will make it look blue. In my garage my Shadow is blue, outside not as much.

congrats. I was in the Philly area and it went to the train yard off 95 near Delaware. My dealer (was Armen, now Bergey's) got approval to go pick it up vs waiting for a truck. Couldn't hurt to ask if you want it sooner.

Well at least my dealer is extremely close to the rail yard then lol. Getting from Wilmington Delaware so hopefully the wait once it gets off the train isn’t too long. It’s actually getting on the train that’s still the problem for me. Produced 2/6, intermediate shipped to new Boston rail yard 3/3, and nothing ever since. Just sitting there collecting dust. Le sigh.

Not common that they let a dealer pick up a car from the rail yard. Maybe something has changed with the new carriers they are using. Previously, contracts would not allow them to do that.

My 22 sat for a week at the rail yard 16 miles from the dealer. They weren't allowed to go get it.

Same. Been in status code 3800 since last week. I get the feeling shipping is going to be a test of patience.

FWIW...My CT5 BW was built early Feb (I think it went into production 1/27), just got word from the dealer it was delivered today! Picking it up tomorrow, can't wait! So there is hope for shorter delivery times.

I would expect GM to push hard to deliver any car built before this week by April 1. They want to show the revenue in their Q1 (or maybe Q3 for them?) numbers.

Omg mine was built 2/3. I hope this means mine is coming soon man. Was yours tracked all the way on vin view or did it just show up? I need mine to be ready by April 4th lmao. That new tax break is callin my name.

It just showed up (to my surprise). I called the dealer the week of Mar 10th and they said it was bayed. I'm in Houston so I figured probably another month at least for delivery. Now here we are, two weeks later, and I get a call saying the car was on a truck and arriving today...sure as shit it did. I agree with one of the previous posts, this is probably about Q1 earnings for GM. They're going to push these cars out the door as fast as they can over the next week, guaranteed. Fingers crossed brother but I hope you get it soon.

Mine was built the second week of January and I took delivery last Saturday. Southwest Florida.
