Blackwing Constraints Tracker

Bumping for more info - I am wondering the same thing. If CF1 is under constraint, I may go used.

I put my order in with the dealership in mid November, was hoping to have an allocation by now. Best of luck to you!
I ordered mid September so hopefully your number is up soon.

Until then, let me recommend this wonderful album:

Well what do you know, my order was allocated yesterday morning! I'm really excited, but tempering my expectations - is there anything that can change at this point? Not sure if they ever change an order after it's been accepted.

CF1
Manual
Drift Metallic
There is a small window after acceptance that an order can be modified. I can't remember before what status code though (maybe 3000 or 3100). Time can be very short between accepted and then.

This post has the status codes and when it becomes impossible to change the order.

You can have an order changed if you catch it immediately after acceptance, our order was missing PDR. Dealer did say that they had to pull some strings to get it done. But it got changed.

I had it. 3000 :)

Thanks for all of the replies - I always have in the back of mind that I should have ordered it a little differently, but I am going to keep it how it is.

I really meant - can Cadillac come in and change anything after they have accepted it? It really doesn't matter, I doubt there is much risk of that ever happening. I don't mean to beat a dead horse. Just clarifying!

THEY can't change anything on a customer order without your input. The status code process is such that when the car is scheduled for production, they already know they have all the parts to make it as ordered.

That *might* be my car. It is supposed to be delivered this weekend to the dealer. CF1 and CF2.

So - I still don't have a car. It is odd - It was on its way to the Bellevue dealer >2 weeks ago, and the dealer was able to track it. Due to snow in the north it seems like the shipper detoured down to Baker City, and it shows as stuck there for about 10 days. I did a chat with cadillac directly and their agent says it shows as 'shipping', with an ETA now of the 26th, so *perhaps* that is the new estimated delivery date.

The longtime transport shipper for both Ford and GM just got fired by both and went out of business. The already difficult and unpredictable process of getting finished vehicles from Michigan to dealerships is only going to be more difficult and unpredictable. To put it in other words- the goats are no longer in a pen and someone is feeding them energy drinks and meth. Good luck to us all in this new extreme goat rodeo sponsored by Red Bull and Walter White.

Indeed - That was the problem. It was in transit, then sat for a while, then went back east a bit then back west, and I picked it up today in Seattle!

CT4 or CT5?

I have a CT4 BW the same but with an extra item and been told there isn't an allocation yet. Had an order for about 5months now

CT4

Full options are:
Manual
CF1
Black/satin wheels
Drift Metallic Paint
Blue Calipers
Natural interior (can't remember the full option name, but highest interior level)

That's it. No PDR or sunroof.

Do you know how many orders are ahead of you? I was first in line for 3 months at my dealer.

I'm number 1 for my dealer and is the best blackwing dealer for WA, but I was told a couple weeks ago Cadillac isn't building any CT4s right now but will be soon. I saw your post and checked my status before I asked you thinking you were a CT5; my order status is still at 1100. My dealer is expecting to get 5 allocations, but its just such an anxiety inducing thing until you get that allocation assigned.
I have a very similar build to yours except red calipers and decided to opt for CF2 as well.

I originally was going to get the base seats, but the dealer got a coastal blue BW in with the white performance seats and they are 10fold more comfy to me than the base level seats. I would have probably taken the blue one they got if it didn't have the sunroof, but the head room is really bad with the sunroof and I have to chauffeur 3 kids around; I'm just average height.

Totally hear you, 5 months is really frustrating. My dealer was really surprised to get the allocation with how slow it's been.

I had started to consider putting an order in with multiple dealerships to increase my odds, but I just got plain lucky in the end.

The sales manager mentioned getting an email about them increasing production too. Hopefully that's true.

It's getting close to the end of the production year for 2025. I think it's done in April. Hopefully you get an allocation and TPW quickly otherwise you're waiting until the 2026 model year if it happens.

Wow. My order was originally accepted at my dealer (northern VA) on November 26, 2022. My allocation finally arrived February 20th, 2025 (27 months later). 5V BW manual with both CF packages and semi-aniline seats. I didn't originally want the CF packages, but wanted the seats. I had an opportunity for an allocation on Feb 9th 2024, but without the upgraded seats - so I passed. When the dealer said I could have the CF packages on this allocation, I went for it.

Now, the wait continues.... Dealer estimates 3 to 4 months until delivery. Optimistic?
