Victory Driven

On my V1 I bought an OEM wheel and mounted the least worn F1 SC RFT and gm jack kit and the spare in the well. Never needed it. On the V2 I just risked it and old got a puncture one time but I was on my winter set rear which happened to be a Pilot Sport A/S+ RFT at that time.

Back to the book, I've read up through the V3. I never really paid much attention to the V3 when it came out because we were about to have a kid at that time and it didn't seem much better than the V2 (and no manual). But reading the book made we wish I had gotten one.
I haven't read the book yet but I owned a V2 and V3 and that was a HUUUUUGE jump in performance. It was crazy.

At the time I bought my V-Wagon, I needed a car that could haul my mountain bikes and the V-Wagon was it. The V3 with the extra HP would have been nice but it didn't come in a wagon. Oh Well. So far, I haven't had the desire to pull the trigger on a BlackWing.
I'll keep driving my V-Wagon a few more years. Besides I added a 2025 Corvette Eray to my garage late last year.

Is it true V-club members get a 10% discount on the book?

I plan to keep my copy to read to my girls as a bedtime story.

My youngest might actually like cars when she's older. She laughs anytime I floor it. And one time after a spirited drive she gets out of the backseat and says "Daddy, what is that yummy smell?". I ask, "You mean brakes and tires?", "Yes! It's yummy".

So there is hope for the next generation not all being EV appliance passengers.

Finished the book today. Now I want to go get a 5BW. And a V3 and STS-V.

As an ex-v3 owner the biggest problem, and thus dealbreaker unless you’re going to tune it and fix it, is the absolute SHIT transmission. It’s a pickup truck transmission and acts like it.

If I wasn't able to get my 2022 5BW.....my second choice was to buy an XLR-V. Had a few in my sites. If I ever sell my Dodge Challenger, I still may pick one up.
