Squeaking Seat Backs

I have a 2023 Road Atlanta IMSA edition CTV-4 Blackwing with just under 9K miles on it.

I love the car, it does everything I expect it to do.

Cruising on the interstate it's very quiet with one exception. The car has carbon fiber shells on the backs of the front seats and they squeak at any bump or irregularity in the road.

The local dealer is going to investigate options for me but I'm not optimistic.

Has anyone had this issue and if so, found any solution? Thanks, Don

I didn’t think the CT4-V had an option for CF seats? I thought it was the 5VBW only.

Correct. The Road Atlanta IMSA edition is one of them.

There's been multiple comments about this. It seems they either squeak or don't . Mine do not make any noise. Others have complained. I'm not sure there's much you can do.

Don- If it comes to DIY, you can take off the seat backs and line the edges with some felt tape like below where the shell makes contact with the seat.

When you take the carbon fiber off is there leather underneath identical to the leather you sit on?

In my case, it was only an issue for the passenger seat at a specific seat angle. Try just reclining it a bit.

Thanks for the suggestion. I did recline the front seats this morning, not a great amount. There were noticeably fewer squeaking noises during driving today. Don
