Selling my Blackwing

If it's an amazing car as you say, why are you selling it? Don

Mainly space, resources and time, only so much of them and have to balance the best way possible! I will probably regret this! But, I hope the thrill of whatever comes next will offset that.

Good luck with the auction, dog. I'll pass it along to any interested folks.

I won't ask what your reserve is, but I am curious if you had much of a battle with them, agreeing on a reserve. I've recently tried to list a couple of things and they were really tight.

Good luck. Hope you get way more than the current bid.

Does BAT allow reserves ?

Yes.

I'll suggest (hey, we can have a contest!!!) that it will end at around $81,000. With buyer's premium, that would be $85,050, which ain't too bad.

Enjoy whatever you get next. It's about the fun!

White is probably at the bottom of my list of colors, but it's in state. Might put down a bid for the fun of it.

the process was pretty smooth for me.

I obviously like the color. But it’s clear it’s not for everyone. This color does magnify the sleeper status of these cars, which can be fun also.

Good luck with bidding!

Agreed, I was at a show yesterday and there was a dark emerald frost on the other side and there were crowds of people standing around if, very few walked by my car. I can't believe how many people can't tell the difference between a CTS and a CT-5.

I’ve owned many white cars, I actually find they are one of the easiest colors to keep clean. They don’t show dust or light grime at all, and it takes a lot to look dirty. I think the biggest issues is bugs on the front are more noticeable. Best color I ever had for low maintenance was a beige/silver Silverado, just washed or not washed for a month looked exactly the same!

Also you debadged the shit out of it so they don't have the cheat sheets.
