How should it be, above or below? Also should there be any fasteners in the 4 holes?

Is this a 4 or a 5?

I'm looking at my 5 trying to figure out where exactly you're at.

If it's where the wheel liner at the front and back of the rear wheels connects to the underbody mine looks like this ...

Front (you can see where it meets the CF side skirt):

Rear (you can see where it meets the diffuser):

Sorry, this is a 5. Side close to the rear doors. I have cf1 and cf2. Appears I am missing some bolts.. on both sides. The rear is complete. Anyone have the part number?

Going off the rear and the pictures above, I believe the correct part number is GM 11548270. I have ordered some. So I will test them out.

Those screws should have been installed during PDI

PDI the screws are in a plastic bag in the trunk , I helped PDI my car when it was delivered to the dealership.

That's interesting. While I can't tell precisely what the screws are doing here, are they holding on dealer installed parts? Seems odd that these screws wouldn't be installed at the factory, but good to know.

PDI tech #1: "What's with this bag of screws?"

PDI tech #2: "I don't know. Do you think anyone will miss them?"

PDI tech #1: "Nahh. Just toss 'em in the trash."

PDI Supervisor: "Good job, guys. I see you used all the parts bags that were in the trunk."

That's an awesome way to get initiated to your car first thing.
