CT5-V Max tire size (diameter, width) you can put on stock 5BW suspension w/no rubbing?

CT5-V Model
Dunno if it’s easier to see how much fender gap are there. Really the ultimate goal of the lowering springs is to lessen the rear gap. Fronts on stock springs aren’t that bad upfront.

Also found my old alignment specs. Definitely have no camber up front. Probably should have adjusted it to -1 to -1.5. But again, pain in the ass to adjust since you’d have loosen the lower perch bolt, take the upper completely off since it’s knurled, shift, then put everything back together and recheck alignment. It’s basically a pain in the ass, I don’t believe there’s lower arm adjustment/eccentric bolts like in the older Vs.

This, I went with the ECS2 with that in mind since I wasnt 100% of space. Seeing how much space I got, I'll probably go back to 325 PS4s when Im done with these ECS2s. I think im getting there with atleast 15K miles on them by now.
So you’re saying that things are real tight in the rear wheel wells with the 335s, to the point where you’re uncomfortable with clearances? I’m starting to tee up my wheels and tires in anticipation of an early Feb delivery.

I’ve always been a Michelin fan, but wide 335 rear meats are tough competition.

No, I mean I wasn’t sure when I was ordering tires. So between the PS4 325 and ECS2 335, the ECS were narrower contact patch wise, so safer bet. Now that they’re mounted on the car, with about -1° of camber, I can see that I have more fender space to run wider tires. 325 PS4 are wider so I’ll probably switch to that over the EXS2 again.

Never mind. I just saw the post where the 325 Michelins are actually wider than the 335 Contis.
Yeah, look at the specs for contact patch/thread width in tirerack between the 2, you’ll see what I meant.

I gotta find my sheet but definitely something that can be fixed with more camber. The upper perch hole on the car is slotted and thats how you adjust camber. When I did my springs, with the anticipation of the wheels, I pushed the upper as much as I could to get more distance between the top of the wheel and the strut. Its unneeded once I saw how much more space I got once the wheels were mounted.

Its supertucked just because the picture was taken during a turn. Its not that bad really.

Do you track the car with this set up? Any track rubbing issues?
