Hey all, so I think I might have found a used 2023 4BW with 4K miles on it that actually ticks all the boxes in terms of specs I want, but it's a Canadian car being sold by a Cadillac dealer in the US. One thing that the sales person already mentioned is that they cannot offer CPO warranty on Canadian cars.

Anything else I should be aware of?

No CPO warranty is one thing but can they offer ANY warranty at all? I’m not sure if GM does it, but Chrysler was voiding warranty on cars sold across the boarder.

I suppose if you have a VIN you could ask someone in the service department to verify. I know they have a way to show warranty coverage

If the original warranty is void it will show up as blocked.

I don't know about conversions but up here in Canada ( I just went through this on my C7) an imported car has to abide by Canadian rules. What this means is the gauge cluster needs to display kph not mph and a few other random things.

Since ite a digital cluster this should be pretty straightforward but I would check to make sure the car conforms with US laws and anything that needed to be changed was.

There's also a lot of 4BW's out there so if you want CPO just look for another car.

Also ask them if it comes with free maple syrup.
