On the 25s is there a way to not have all the sliders pop up when I hit the Vmode switch? I just want it to go into Vmode and not take away my entire display. Can’t find anything in the system settings to change this behavior….maybe I’m just blind.

It takes ~8 secs for the screen to disappear or press the “X” at the upper right corner. Is there something I’m missing.

But in the 8 seconds my wife might catch on to what I'm doing. She has traction control button spidy-sense, and I have long thumbs and can reach it when shifting to 2nd totally unnoticed to normal humans.

It looks like this is something that got ‘lost’ in the UI update on the 25 manuals…. Like a way to change the volume other than the steering wheel buttons.

There is no home button any longer, and I can’t find a visualization off anywhere in the settings, so I guess it’s wait or hit the little x in the upper left of the screen. But that means I have to take my hands off the wheel before any fun can be had.

The v-mode is immediate even though the display lingers. If you’re already driving that aggressively why would you be looking at the screen, should be looking at the road. There is something I’m completely missing here.

I’ve got the performance app or PDR up and running… I hit the v button and it disappears. The only way to get that info back up is to wait or touch the screen. I don’t want that distraction. It could be removed on pre 25 models.
