Ok, heading to Spring Mountain for Thursday and Friday class, getting very excited. Weather is looking to be perfect; calling for 70° and sunny. Any last minute recommendations on anything? Just wear jeans and a T-shirt for class, etc?

It’s all very relaxed except when you’re on the track, when you need to pay 100% attention.
But even that is not intimidating but fun because you are well-coached before you hit the track and while you are behind the wheel.
In other words: show up, relax, enjoy!

Wouldn't recommend flip flops...

Just finished class this past Monday/Tuesday. I couldn’t recommend it enough. Both me and the SO took the class, both got a ton out of it. We were is different groups by the end, so we were both coached at a level we needed. Every instructor had something to teach me, and I realized how much more I had to learn when it was all said and done.

The facility, food, programming, and staff are all top notch. If you’re on the fence, go for it.

Just arrived and got checked in, looking forward to tomorrow! Drive from Vegas wasn't bad, very scenic in some areas.

I got carbon 1 & 2, ceramic brakes, but the base seats! 😆 Using my knee to hold me in place.

My rotors were shot by the second day afternoon. The massive shuttering under full braking was absurd. I would ask for my money back for that day except that would be $0

We started out with the ABS training and it was cold and the car's hadn't been driven yet. My ceramics didn't really seem like they were ready to go on my first run through and they thought I hadn't smashed the pedal hard enough because it took a lot longer to stop than it should have. Once they warmed up they were awesome, but that first time braking was a little weak.

I'm going to the July 5-6 class this year.
You're going to be so hot doing that time. Next week it's supposed to be 93° here, I can't imagine in the middle of summer. It was 75° here yesterday and I was sweating in the car doing aggressive driving on the track and I had the air conditioning and cooled seat on max 🥵

I did the class with Ford Performance in Charlotte in August and was good to go. The class in July is the only one that made sense with everything else going on in life, so I'll take being able to go over not.

I'll be fine. I'm a very typical person. Hope the car is!

I just know they said it can get well over 100° here, but it certainly is dry. The humidity here during the day gets down to around 10 to 12%, my hands are already cracking and you definitely have to keep hydrated constantly.
