Option A: Fully loaded '24 with 265 miles, dealer bought the car from GM so it was likely one of their show cars

Option B: Fresh from factory, mostly stock '25 with the choice upgrades I really care about, sans the PDR and Carbon Fiber

Same price

What is the sticker price on both cars?

I did something similar to Option A. My CT4-V Blackwing had a little under 1800 miles when I bought it. It has nearly every high-dollar option except the $1500 wheel upgrade. The 1800 miles saved me about $21K off sticker. 265 miles seems like a no-brainer to me.

Roughly 85K for the very lightly used '24
Roughly 67K for the fresh from factory '25

I don't think any used 4 Blackwing is worth 85k. For that money, you can buy a used 5 Blackwing.

Definitely the 2025 at 67k is the way to go here. Or look for a fully optioned lightly used 4 at a much lower price.

Sorry, think we were on different wavelinks, he asked for the sticker price.

I can get either for roughly 72.5K takehome after taxes and fees.

You're not saying much about either car, but $87k sticker suggests the '24 has all the options and the '25 is lightly optioned and doesn't have a few bits you would like? What is your dilemma here? Is it the miles and unknowns about the '24? I get the emotional part of that, but the '24 sounds like it might be a better value in the long run.

You have the gist of it. I kept it vague on purpose because of folks having variable opinions on the individual options.

Basically, I like the ‘24 slightly better as optioned. There are some smaller tradeoffs, and the new from factory gives you the warm and fuzzies.

The CF is an easy aftermarket add-on. The PDR can be added on later but at a MUCH higher cost & level of difficulty. All things being equal, I'd take the '24.

Any warranty differences between to the 2 vehicles since the '24 is used?

First thing I look at is the tires for signs of abuse. Used cars have plenty to tell you if you add up all the small clues. The new car fresh feeling is fleeting, a year from now the options will mean more to you than anything else. Also, sounds like you're paying MSRP on the '25? If you're OK with MSRP, why not order one exactly how you want it?

Aaahhh, OK. I thought the prices posted were what you would pay.

If both cost about the same, absolutely take the highly optioned 2024. And it is Black Diamond Tricoat?? Geez, grab thing thing and go!!

For me all things being equal. Options I want beat new.

Appreciate the input folks, if I don’t take the unicorn used car today, I’ll link it. Someone should be driving it.

Yes. And his name rhymes with Devin...

this is a good point... a '24 could be a year+ into the warranty already cause the clock on it def started as a used car. its annoying that GM warranty is 3 years instad of 4

Engine is 7 years

I don't think the dive planes on the CT4 are that easy to add on. Didn't someone on this forum have to get a whole new front fascia and get it painted to make the swap?

I admit, I'm a bit too crazy.

When I get around to upgrading my Magico speakers, the next set is going the custom paint route (they will do anything). And you already know what mine are going to be :_rock
