$6-8000 off?? Wow, I'd almost get off the fence and buy a new one for that kind of discount. Guess it's no wonder why pre owned prices are dropping. There are some really good deals on used ones.

I've not been in the CT4 market, but from everything I've read and seen, that's a pretty strong deal for a new 6-speed, especially a 2024.

I have been shopping around for a 4 BW manual. I’ve seen $4K off MSRP on the 2023s (did not get as far as negotiating more on those). I’ve shopped around on some of the 2024s and been told MSRP and $2,500 off. I think the $4K plus for a 6 spd and it being a 2024 is a good deal.

Well after 20 months Dustin @ Sewell’s emailed us to say order excepted and at 3000 status!
This time we held out for carbon.
I guess will find out what all the hype is about the standard trans!

I want to give a shout-out to Brian at Gold Coast Cadillac in New Jersey. Even though I didn’t end up buying from them (surprise email from Sewell a couple days ago that my order hit 3400 status), Brian was awesome to work with and he was great at communicating, and I think they might still have an open allocation.

Sadly they're marking up their 5BW. While I was waiting for my order to be built they had one that was 95% the same. They told me it would be $25k over MSRP and I told them I'd come in that weekend and buy it at MSRP and they danced around the question and wouldn't answer if there was any room to negotiate the markup. I was 100% not paying a dime of markup, but wanted to see if they would budge at all. They just told me to drive on down and we would "discuss things".

Dang ok that’s unfortunate, maybe either it’s just for the 4BWs or it was a different situation with Brian because he was super cool and transparent about everything. I can’t speak to the rest of the dealership since he was the only one I worked with, but that’s scummy regardless.

Gold Coast wouldn't give me the time of day on a custom order of a 5 at MSRP.

We will custom order at MSRP and anything Blackwing we have on the lot is at MSRP or lower. I have only been here a few months, hopefully that was before I got here.

I am so sorry you were treated that way. It was not by me and I cannot speak for the other salesmen at the dealership but not a chance I am going to be greedy and markup the BW to make a few extra bucks. We have a few sitting on the lot now and looking to dump all of them.

Careful with your words. To some, “looking to dump”, means a meaningful discount to MSRP, not including manufacturer incentives.

This is an odd spec. A10, base seats, CBB with no other carbon. Not surprised they're having trouble selling it.
