Anyone aware of typical build times? I ordered a V in Nov 24, 5 months ago, still code 1000, so GM hasn’t picked up the build. Is that normal? I went through a small town/volume dealership, wondering if that’s the issue. I understand allocation issues for BW, are they an issue for Vs as well?

There are requirements for dealers to receive allocation numbers for Vs as well. You need to find out from your dealer what their previous V-series allocation numbers have been. If they haven't sold very many Vs in the past, it's quite possible, it's going to be a while before they can acquire allocation from GM to process your order.
