Looks like it squatted prior to launch? A10? Either way, great run!It seems you don’t use launch control is that just me assuming? Did you try with launch control?
A10, It was on launch control with it set to 1200 rpm. Getting drag radials next week so we will see what she will do with some sticky tires. 1st pass was 11.50 w launch control set at 2800. It spun a little. 2nd pass i did a small burnout and it stuck. It seems you don’t use launch control is that just me assuming? Did you try with launch control?
That shop who ported the blower.Wasn't there a youtuber or the like that was making passes and trying different settings for launch that they wound up not using launch control and made better times?
While I don't drag, I do ProSolo which uses the Tree to start each run. My experience is a well-done manual launch is always faster than LC. LC has the benefit of consistency.
So they were also on drag radials to begin with, i was on stock tires. The track was packed and i only got 2 runs from 6-1130. For this reason i ran launch control because i didnt want blown runs from blowing the tires off. In the runs from the guys in maryland, he clicked off around 7 passes before he got the 10.99. Most of them being in the 11.1 range, again on drag radials. I have drag radials coming tomorrow and weather supposed to be low 40's this friday with -1300 DA expected. (my runs were at +360). With tires, different launch, 65# less weight (i had 3/4 tank) , and amazing weather, i believe I have a shot at beating thier time with just tires. I think thier dyno was inflated or the car just wont let it have that power under load.... We will see. To get 11.24 on stock tires with 1300 miles (ish) on the 2nd pass ever driving this car down the track is quite impressive! I will be turning off all the nannies with the drag radials and will not use launch control. Most likely its similar to the V3 in which the stock tune pulls power at the launch (only gave the v3 around 35% power til around 30mph). My prediction is 1.69 60', and 10.98@126. Cold air being the biggest factor. That shop who ported the blower.
They ran 10.99 no LC and no other mods.
Based on these variables I believe you have a decent chance at that low ET, tires and good air = love love times...LOL Good luck bud!So they were also on drag radials to begin with, i was on stock tires.
