I am looking to purchase a CT5 Blackwing and since I live in Chicago I need all season tires.
Pretty rare but I found one the correct size they are:

Fortune Viento FSR702

I never herd of them. I understand they are Chinese. Not my first choice in tires but the only choice.
Anyone have these tires or thoughts?

Do they use salt on the roads for winter in Chicago??

Oh...that's mighty unfortunate! (But welcome of course in the absence of A/FWD.)

Stay away from any Chinese tires. They are known to have many problems. Just have a winter wheel set up for your car.

I took delivery of a CT5 Blackwing and have decided to purchase a set of wheels and tires for winter. I will keep the standard wheels and tires and run them as much as possible during most of the year.
For winter running I would like to get a set of wheels and tires identical to what I have on our 2012 CTS V sedan. Does any one know if this will work.

Wheel choices are pretty limited. The best option IMO would be to step down to an 18"x8" set up. I ran Blizzaks on my SS for 5 Chitcago winters without issue. I haven't tried yet but hoping they will fit my BW4 for the upcoming winters.

Forgeline will make you a custom set of wheels in the width, offset and diameter you want.

Been there, done that.
Plus every other tire site on the internet.
I just run a second set of OEM wheels and Pirelli Sottozero tires. I believe Michelin Pilot Alpin tires now come in sizes that will work with oem as well but don’t hold me to that.

Yup, that was my point. It's nearly impossible.
As somebody who dailies my BW, including winter, this is pretty killer.
Luckily I have Sottozeros. But eventually those will need to be replaced.

Thanks to all with the input.
I took delivery on a 2025 CT5 Blackwing and made a decision on what to do.

I have a 2012 CTS V with Goodyear Exhilarate tires on it and like them.
I can get that tire in the B/W size to fit the front. On the back I used the 285 35 19
like the CTS V. It fits on the 11" B/W wheel.
