You're the only 1 that I'm aware of. Allocations for 4s seem to be much more readily available than for 5s.

My dealer ordered a 5 for inventory - so much for my "first on their list" - rift with manual and just about everything except carbon brakes, from what I understand.

The fact that an inventory order jumped your custom order shows just how broken this process is. I hope Cadillac is taking notes, they've got some work to do going forward.

You can option it anyway that you want but, you have to have that color. Odd!

Wow! I have been on the wait list for a CTV-5 ever since the reservation event occurred. Order placed in Workbench on 2/23 and is sitting with code 1100. You place an order 3 months later and you have a TPW? Sounds like the Dealers grabbed some of the 500 reservations and are now using them for non-wait list individuals. That's just wrong.

Athena’s is a 4 not a 5 if that’s any consolation.

Yeah the 5 reservations were filled in like 5 min the 4's took 2 days I believe.

From what I've seen they're making the 5 more exclusive than the 4. I'm sure the higher price point and more amenities are making it more rare especially with the chip storage. Also i got a manual so that might mean less chips to use in mine. I think its trash that it happened this way too but I'll take it

Yes but dealers aren't getting any info from Cadillac either. I checked with mine few days back and he had no more information that I have being on this forum.

Sure they are, they're just not communuicating to us faster than this forum is or, us chatting or calling Cadillac is.

Having ordered many cars over the years there isn’t any less being shared now than with them. I can sum much of this up to “our” impatience and strong desire to get these cars. Trust me I’m right with everyone else. I am optimistic though and believe next week we will start seeing status updates to reflect cars are built. Maybe manufacturers could learn from this and tie in the customer better. Or maybe by design they don’t want to?
