Just googled it - GM did away with the hands-free calling through On-Star in February 2022, nothing about discontinuing On Star all together.

I may have missed last week's, but I went from 3400 TPW 2/20/23 to 4B00 w/EDD of 3/1/23. We'll see how long it really takes, but another Rift 6MT coming to the party...

So I got the call a few hours ago, car is at the dealer, I'm stoked! Funny though because yesterday's update was 4B00 w/EDD 3/2/23, but its at the dealership this morning so something must be starting to break loose with the 5s.

FWIW thats only 3 months from order placed and 2 months from 3000/order accepted to delivery.

Huge congrats! Which dealer did you order through?

I have never seen a 5 in Colorado aside from mine and the Infrared model Elway Cadillac had for their "owner". I have seen (2) 4s, but one used to be mine.

Thanks man! Big Star in Houston, none of the dealers here would even put me on their list. We have a place in SWFL too with open garage space, so debating whether I even bring it here versus there until this summer anyway.

Gotcha. I put a small deposit at Elway in Sept 2021. I was # 9 on their list. I cancelled that in March 2022 and they had not received a single 5 at that point. In December, I had already received my 5 from Sewell and stopped in there. They told me they had received a total of 2 CT5-V Blackwing. Glad I made the change when I did!

Colorado just does not get a lot of V cars, and dealers need to sell them to get more allocations. Happy to be in a low V state (car wise and climate wise, beyond that, can't wait to get the hell outta here one day).

Well I just got back from the dealer, and my Blackwing is at the Jersey/ Pa. Border, and will be here either later today or tomorrow. My journey which started last May, is almost over.

Went to the dealer on Saturday afternoon and picked up the Blackwing. It was only a 15 mile drive back home, but I can already tell it was worth the over 8 month wait.
