Congrats! Enjoy the hunk of metal....did you get the options you wanted?

Yes, I was very demanding. I only ordered the parking package. Very pleased with the std. seats. Very comfortable for everyday driving and a little bit nicer looking than reg. CT5 seats. 6 SPD manual feels great and the car is very fast even in break in mode. My C8 felt car fast, this thing feels motorcycle fast which is a very good thing for an ex FJR 1300 rider. You will be impressed.

Well I can finally say after waiting 6428 days I finally have my very own Blackwing. 2023 serial# 117 -6 Spd manual with std interior has landed and I couldn't be happier. (I know Tall Steve must be shocked to hear I'm actually happy!) Std interior is great and seats are super comfortable. Love Argent silver, not sure why more people don't order it but that makes the car more unique so I'm good with that. Still in break in mode but this car is fast. Not C8 fast, motorcycle fast!!!. Roll on passing on the freeway is amazing. You almost can't keep it below 100 if you don't pay attention. And I still have 2000 more RPM to play with when I hit 500 miles. Fit and finish is very good. So glad I sold the C8, this is the ultimate sleeper car I was looking for. Also rarer.

I just got the first oil change @ 1100 miles so the car is now broken in. I have to say that this car is amazing. You are right about not realizing your speed as I had a Kia inches from my bumper at 80 mph. So I wanted to see if he was going to try to keep up. Before I knew it I was going 103 mph and he was gone, and I didn’t realize my speed. This is one hell of a machine.

I'm curious why all the EDDs are delayed. A couple of us are at 4200 (shipped) but the tracker shows delayed. Cadillac's website shows my EDD as 5/10. I have no idea how accurate that date is though. I'm traveling and wonder when I actually need to be back to pick up the car.

Build your car and search local inventory. If your car has been built you'll find your car can click on "vehicle details" to get the VIN and window sticker and EDD.

My dealer has told me practically nothing. Last communication from my dealer was that the build was accepted for production. Got an email straight from Cadillac when the car was built and have been tracking progress on Cadillac.com since then.

Ah, OK. I found it (already know the VIN) but I see no EDD anywhere. But that's because it hasn't hit 4200 yet. Makes sense now.

My CT5 must be one of the few to beat the EDD. Dealer just sent me pictures - it's been delivered. You can take me off the list.

For reference, order was placed on 2/11 and car was delivered on 4/28.

Car was showing 4D00/stuck in the lot of doom when Dustin called me Wednesday and said they had just got notification that morning that the car was arriving at Sewell. He confirmed it was there Thursday, I jumped on a plane Friday and signed the papers last night. Now I just have to wait 3-4 weeks for Intercity to pick it up and get it to New England. I’m happy to be patient though because I’m one of the lucky ones - I haven’t been in the goat rodeo nearly as long as most on this thread. Thanks for all you do for the community!
