I really hope so... Not sure I want to allow myself to keep going through this for much longer into '23. Especially thinking that a simple OTA update (for DRL Recall) could be causing delays in releasing of my car and delivery, and costing me money and headaches.

Oh, I completely get it, was in the rodeo for over 17 months. I will leave you with this, the car is certainly worth the wait. Every time I fire her up and drive her, I completely forget about all the bullshit I went through to get her. It's an incredible machine!

I watch some youtube videos any time I get too antsy... I'm convinced this is one of the very few cars I can buy and keep for longer than a few months. Hope to keep it for a very very long time. I know there isnt much out there that compares. After getting out of my C8, I really want a V8 and a manual. So I'm stuck here with you degenerates...

On a positive note, looks like the DRL recall fixed was somehow pushed to my car on the goat pen at least per NHTSA system which was showing an outstanding recall for that prior to this morning! I hope this clears them out to be released and planned for delivery!

worth the wait

"Worth the wait" is a pretty consistent message being delivered by people who have (finally) gotten their cars.

I myself got my car last Thursday after waiting 8 months and 1 week. For 4 months of that my car was in the goat pen. When delivered it had damage to an exterior trim piece that will be replaced by the dealer at a later date.

Yesterday I hit 500 miles.

It varies. Mine was available two days after it was built, but some aren't for weeks.

My sticker was not available while my car was "MP". When the sticker became available, the very next tracker update showed my car move from "MP" to "DELAYED".

Mine has been MP since the day it was built over three months ago. The sticker just randomly became available about a month ago which I took as an encouraging sign at the time. Still MP though!

Called Cadillac customer care today for my weekly update. Guy was very enthusiastic in telling me my care was ready to ship and once it goes I should have it within 3 days. I told him I have been hearing the same story for over 3 months and his tone mellowed out to the appropriate level of gridlock. Update in one week.

Great news everyone. I heard from Keri that the hold came off of my car on 12/16 and it's showing as assigned to Jack Cooper for final delivery. She said that can always change. I let my dealer know to see if there's anything they can do to help get it here asap. For those of you who already went through this part of the process, do you know what to expect? Is there someone at JC I can call? Anything I can do?

Hope all these HOLD statuses came off for all of us. Looking forward to a very positive next tracker update @Rob !

Unfortunately, Keri would be your best bet. I was contacting her weekly for 2 months. J/C wrapped my car, I was told they now primarily move cars along the various lots. Here's a # for them 517-322-3212 at the Lansing Terminal.
