Well...shit...I tried deleting a couple posts out of the old order tracking thread and I apparently nuked the whole damn thread!

NOTE: the order tracking system is for U.S. based orders only. I can only view orders placed with dealers in the U.S.

@Rob my car finally arrived at the dealer, however it failed PDI, and will need an AC blower motor which is currently on back order. NO current ETA. So I guess I'm MP at the dealership LOL. I guess technically you could pull me off the tracker but for me the rodeo continues....

It seems like some on this recent batch were delivered 1 month after production. That is awesome. My 5 is built sometime the week of 9/26. The ETA to the dealer is 10/25. I honestly gave that date 0 mind, thinking it will be more like December / January. But maybe it will go like yours and be delivered less than 30 days after it was built!! I have received my sticker, and it appears nothing is missing from mine either

I’m pretty sure a bunch of us 9/12s 4s and 5s were built 9/19 and/or 9/26 week. If that means delivery 10/24 or 10/31 week I will cream my jeans and I’m not even wearing any.

All jokes aside my dealership rep just messaged me saying he submitted the dealer request for pickup and it was accepted by GM. Worst case scenario my car is still sitting in Delta and will get on a truck as of 10/17, best case scenario it's on a train somewhere and just shows up randomly. At least they're releasing cars for delivery. You'd think for an American company they'd be able to give us more information on the location of our cars.

Zoomie, I am a 9/12er. Spoke to my dealer earlier and he said I am on a train in Lansing with EDD 10/24. Tracker still shows me at 4D00 though. Should be an interesting next couple weeks. Data about train is from VinView.

Thanks, build week was originally 8/29 then it was pushed back to 9/12. I had my salesperson check VinView while I was filling out the paperwork and it looked like it might have been actually built on 9/20. The car was shipped directly to the dealer outside Charlotte (Hendrick Cadillac Monroe, NC) by Jack Cooper. Looks like they might also dropped off MV84 vehicle in West Virginia on the way to Charlotte. As I mentioned no one at the dealer had a clue that the car was even completed (they showed it as being delayed), in transit, or being dropped off it just arrived yesterday morning. It also seems that all the standard options are on the car including the heated steering wheel, seats as well as ventilated seats.

Cuse44, thanks for the details. Looks like I am on the train now with a 10/24 EDD. It appears recent builds are shipping pretty quickly. Would be interesting to know why and if this will continue...

Maybe the extra $400 they added to the freight line allows them to find reservations quicker. It seems they are doing a better job of wrapping the paint too from some photos I saw, maybe it is the same as before.

My build is very similar to yours and was built week of 9/12 also. I'm gonna call again tomorrow as well. The last time I called was a couple of weeks ago and salesman never got back to me.

Maybe GM is trying to clear the lots before all the Xmas lay-offs happen. GM is like that you know, as are the other car manufacturers.

Good luck, hope you land your Bird! It's a freakin roller coaster ride! Highs and lows. Stay the course, then when delivery comes check it.....Well, really well.

I did get to actually lay eyes on it, can't take delivery yet because of the AC blower motor failure. None in stock and no ETA, so it's going to be another week to 15 days. But at least I can visit my kid and see it through the pen fencing....

How did the paint look? I haven’t heard good things about the black and the condition it shows up in. Mine is also Raven black
