How long does it take to get from 1100 status to anything else on average?

There is simply no answer to this question as posed. Too many variables. I suggest you read the long threads in this forum to get educated further. Most questions you will probably want to ask will be answered.

Sorry I actually have an 80 hour/week job in healthcare earning the money to afford the car...but thanks for the reply.

So hearing 10 mos for guy below; just wanted to actually hear what other people's experiences were. Im actually about to buy one from a local dealer, at least hopefully but do have (2) orders in 1100 status placed in 9/2022

Pfffttt just 80 hours a week? Sounds like a pretty cushy life.

The answer is: how long does it take for someone to win the medium prize on a scratch off ticket.
Depends on your luck and the number of scratch off tickets you got.

You can get a sense of how long by the number of #BW deliveries they got last year against the number of orders on their waitlist. If they got 5 5BWs last year, and you are number 2 on their list, you'll get one likely middle of this year assuming you don't pass up your turn for constraints. If they got 1 5BW last year and you are number 5 on their list, you are fucked.

Even back in the best of the pre pandemic, pre parts shortages, pre crazy ADM days, 90 days for a custom order would have been a normal wait. Now 6 months to a year or more is a likely scenario.

And it's not just GM. My car is after exactly 6 months sitting in a local rail yard 40 miles away and the soonest available hauler is 5 days from now.

Why? I truly don't know. So the rodeo continues. ...

I have been watching yours thinking it would ship before mine. a little shocked when I saw mine in transit and in rail yard now, hopefully going to my dealer soon. I guess you've contacted your H-town dealer recently ?

I'm with Sewell Houston and my salesman told me he had 4 BW arrive at the railyard. was wondering if one might be yours. hope you get yours released soon.
